Hey there!

Hey guys! My name is Sofi and I want you to know that I am PUMPED to start this blog. Drawing our inspiration from Cosmopolitan, my partner and I, Raquel, have decided to make our topic for the magazine something we both would always be on the same page on women, specifically a younger audience (18-34). Whether it be makeup, trying to slim down before spring break (every woman feels me on this one), or relationship issues, Raquel and I will always see eye to eye on the following issues, and our vision for the magazine will come more naturally. In addition, all our other ideas were whack; Raquel initially wanted to do food, but I told her there was no way...lol

On another note, now that we have decided our genre to be a woman's magazine, I have made it a goal to research and post about the following for now: 1) the name of the magazine, 2) common topics within this genre, 3) what appeals the most to our target audience, 4) any motifs we may find, and 5) other woman magazines that we can look to as examples.

There is a lot to do, so I am going to get to it!!!
